In our commitment to protect both people and property, management will provide and maintain a safe and healthful work environment in accordance with industry standards as well as compliance with federal and provincial safety legislation.
Management will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards that may result in property damage, accidents or personal injury/illness. Physical safety, psychological health and social well being are everyone's responsibility. Active participation in every job is an expectation of every employee.
All employees and sub-contractor personnel will be equally responsible for minimizing accidents on our worksites. Safe work practices and procedures will be clearly defined for all employees and sub-trade personnel to follow. On worksites where our client, the owner, has more stringent requirements, these will be followed by all employees and subcontractor personnel.
No part of our business is more important than safety. Our goal on every project is a lost time accident frequency of zero.

Goal Zero
In 2017 we started our journey with Caterpillar Safety Services to help engage our entire organization in a culture of zero-incident performance. Together we will travel along our safety journey by applying industry best practices, continuous improvement processes and the latest technologies to see, mitigate and manage risks.
Environment
E Construction has developed an Environmental Management System that meets international standards, and a Protection Plan designed to prevent damage to the environment. This involves extensive employee training, hazard assessment, monitoring and inspection of sites and enforcement of policies and procedures. The Environmental Protection Plan deals extensively with emergency response to any environmental incidents.
